After more than 20 years of experience in both functional and operational management posts in international contexts and at times of considerable change (Keolis, Framatome RT, Gaz de France), Françoise acquired the conviction that the orchestration of enterprises is successful under certain conditions. Thus, after having occupied positions on executive committees, fully conscious of the difficulty experienced by actors in converging, notably on the way to successfully define the means of attaining strategic objectives, decompartmentalising and cooperating, she decided to join the consultancy in supporting change within executive boards. Following an experience at Oliver Wyman where she supported reorganization projects at every level, she joined Secor in Paris as Managing Partner for activity.

Ken Smith is one of Canada’s most experienced strategy consultants. He has recently retired from full-time practice after 25 years. Throughout his consulting career, he led the growth and development of new offices and practices. In particular, he was instrumental in developing SECOR from its Quebec base to Canada’s leading strategy consultancy and was ultimately elected Chair of the firm. He is now Associate Dean in the College of Management and Economics at the University of Guelph and continues consulting part-time in affiliation with SECOR.
Ken is a recognized expert in industry restructuring, mergers and partnerships. He has published several articles relating to the corporate governance and public policy issues associated with global industry restructuring and international mergers and acquisitions, including his most recent article “Losing (Ownership) Control” in the Harvard Business Review. Earlier, he established and published the first shareholder value based metric of merger success, which is now broadly used in the industry, and introduced the application of real options to acquisitions in restructuring industries. Much of this work is included in his new book “The Art of M&A Strategy”, McGraw Hill, 2012, co-authored with Alexandra Reed Lajoux.
His client work has focused on the business and public policy issues related to corporate strategy and industry restructuring. He has written on the systemic risk issues behind the US financial industry crisis and advised US financial institutions and regulators. In Canada, his work on global industry restructuring helped draw attention to the issues that led to the 2008 federal review of Canadian competitiveness policy. His work on financial services competitiveness, global bancassurance, global nuclear industry restructuring and on the medical isotope crisis is also well known in each of the respective industries and in government.
Ken is also active on a volunteer basis in the business and not-for-profit communities. He chaired of the Ontario Chapter of the Institute of Corporate Directors, one of the largest and most active associations for directors in North America. He is on the boards of ACCERTA, the Arthritis Society and the Mergers and Acquisitions Leadership Council, and is a member of the Steering Committee for Financial Literacy.
After many years in consultancy focused on the economic issues of states/regions and the problems of industrial restructuring, Isabelle turned towards company consultancy. This dual approach, macro then micro economic allowed her to support leadership teams and colleagues in enterprises in developing perspectives relating to both the internal and external challenges of the enterprise.
For 10 years now she has supported the reorganization of such enterprises as France Telecom/Orange, EDF, Roche Pharma and Nouvelles Frontières at some key moments in their history: regulation, change of brand and so on.
Isabelle acquired the conviction that the success of a strategy depends on the ability of a leadership team to share its vision and build with the managers an internal context favourable to its implementation and the mobilization of its teams.
Isabelle is a graduate of ESSEC and joined SECOR at the end of 2008 after 10 years at the office of Izsak Grapin et Associés.
